TeleSign Names EMEA Head
Marina del Rey-based TeleSign, which provides phone authentication and verification services, said Thursday that it as added Craig Whitney as its Vice President, EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). TeleSign--which is headed by former Vantage Media CEO Steve Jillings--said it also would open up a new European headquarters in London. Whitney has previously served at iPass, Axway, and Tumbleweed. TeleSign provides automated voice call or SMS codes for multi-factor authentication uses--a technique used to prevent bulk registrations, spam, and fraud online.
