Contour Energy Expands Battery Line
Azusa-based Contour Energy Systems, the venture-backed battery developer spun out of research from Caltech, said today that it has added two new lithium batteries to its line of coin cells. The firm said the new 2016 and 2450 lithium coin cells are aimed at advanced and next generation portable electronics. Contour said the cells are designed for OEM applications in the medical, consumer, automotive, and military markets. Contour Energy is venture backed by CMEA Capital, Harris and Harris, Schlumberger and US Venture Partners.
