Teledyne Buys Stake In Optech
Thousand Oaks-based Teledyne Technologies said this morning that it has acquired a minority stake in Optech, a developer of three dimensional, lidar-based imaging systems. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed. Teledyne said the investment was made through its subsidiary, Teledyne DALSA. Optech is based in Vaughan, Ontario. Its systems are used in airborne terrestrial mapping and space exploration.
