Mad Catz Launches Game Studio
San Diego-based Mad Catz Interactive announced this morning that it has launched a new, game studio, ThunderHawk Studios, which will focus on massively multiplayer, online, flight simulation games. The new studio, also based in San Diego, is expected to launch its first game in 2012. Mad Catz has been making some moves in the flight simulation area recently, having acquired flight simulation and accessory developer V Max Simulation in February. Mad Catz said the new studio will help it expand its participation in developing, publishing and distributing games.
