El Segundo-based
iRise, the developer of enterprise application visualization software, said Thursday that it is launching a $20,000 Developer Contest. iRise said the contest will award $20,000 to developers who create custom widgets for the iRise software modeling environment. Nine prizes, ranging from $500 to $2000 each, will be awarded, for the creation of "iBloc" widgets for the iRise software. The deadline for the
contest is July 31st. iRise develops enterprise visualization software, which allows companies to create mockups of their enterprise apps without software development. That software helps simulate and specify apps before handing them over to developers for full implementation.
