RealD Adds 1,000 Screens At AMC Entertainment
Los Angeles-based 3D movie projection technology provider RealD has inked an agreement to expand the number of 3D screens at AMC Entertainment by a thousand screens, the firms said Thursday. According to RealD, it will equip up to 1,000 additoinal screens with RealD's 3D technology, across AMC's theaters in the United States and Canada. Financial impact of the additional screens was not announced by the companies. RealD said that the additional screens will boost AMC's total RealD screens to around 2,500.
