Irvine-based
ClariPhy Communications, a developer of mixed-signal, digital signal processing (DSP) systems-on-a-chip, said today that it has named Nariman Yousefi as its new CEO and President. Yousefi is a Broadcom veteran, having served at Broadcom for 17 years, as a part of that firm's Enterprise Networking Group. Yousefi was most recently Senior VP of Broadcom's Enterprise Networking Group. Former CEO and co-founder Dr. Paul Voois remains with the company, and will now focus on corporate strategy and new product management. ClariPhy is venture backed by Allegis Capital, Norwest Venture Partners, Oclaro, Onset Ventures, Nokia Siemens Networks and Pacific General Ventures.
