Agoura Hills-based videogames firm
THQ said this morning that it has linked with gaming developer
Crytek, to develop its next title in its Homefront franchise. Financial details of the arrangement were not disclosed, however, THQ said it expects the new title to be released in its fiscal 2014, on console and PC platforms. Homefront is THQ's post-apocalyptic, first-person-shooter (FPS) action game, which involves North Korea invading the United States. THQ's first Homefront title was released in March of 2011. Crytek is a game development studio based in Frankfurt, Germany. The original Homefront title was developed by Kaos Studios.
