Riot's League Of Legends Hits 11M Active Players
Los Angeles-based Riot Games, which develops online video games aimed at hard core gamers, said today that its title, League of Legends, has reached 11.5 million monthly active players, with over 30 million registered players on the game. Riot said the numbers are double what they were in July. Riot Games is now part of Chinese gaming giant Tencent, which acquired the company in February.
