Slacker Launches App For Android Tablets
San Diego-based personalized radio streaming firm Slacker and Verizon unveiled a new, Android Tablet version of the company's personalized radio app Wednesday. Slacker and Verizon said that Slacker's new Slacker Radio application has been optimized for Android tablets and Verizon's 4G LTE connections. The firms did not say when the Tablet application will be available to users. Slacker operates a personalized radio station streaming service, which streams music, sports, news, and more to users. The service competes head to head with Pandora.
