enXco Buys Texas Wind Project

enXco
, a developer of renewable energy projects which is backed by EDF Energies Nouvelles, said this morning that it has acquired a wind power project from
Element Power US
. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. enxCo and Element said that enXco purchase the Bobcat Bluff Wind Project, located in Archer County, Texas, which includes 14,000 acres, and is expected to deploy up to 150 megawatts of capacity. Element Power is owned by private equity firm Hudson Clean Energy Partners.
