RainTree Oncology Gets $11.1M
San Diego-based RainTree Oncology Services, a provider of systems which help oncologists to purchase oral drugs, manage inventories, track prescriptions, and monitor patients, has raised $11.1M, the firm said late Tuesday. The firm said the Series B round was led by Robert M. Bass, and brings the company's total raised to $22.5M. RainTree said the new funding will go to staff operations, data system development, working capital, and general corporate purposes. RainTree is headed by MIke Martin. The firm's target customers are community oncologists.
