SRS Upgrades Audio Processing Accessory
Santa Ana-based SRS Labs, which develops surround sound and audio enhancement technology, said this morning that it has upgraded its SRS iWOW Universal audio accessory, which allows users of any audio device to gain access to its surround sound and audio processing technology. SRS said its device, which plugs into any standard 3.5mm headphone jack, allows nearly any consumer electronic device to gain access to its audio processing technology, which is used to enhance music, videos, video games, and other audio. Pricing on the upgraded product, which ships this month, was not announced. SRS usually licenses its audio processing technology to hardware manufacturers for inclusion in devices.
