Factual Releases New Android SDK
Los Angeles-based location based data API provider Factual told its developers ysterday that it has officially annoucned the release of its official SDK for Android. The firm--which already supported Android through its Factual Java driver--said it has added exact dependencies needed to get the firm's APIs up and running on an Android device, provided a sample Android project, and other specific Android support hooks into the SDK. Factual provides location-based APIs which allow developers to pull up information about nearby businesses and attractions, along with other data.
