Santa Monica-based
Activision, via its subsidiary Activision Publishing, said today that it is in a strategic relationship with
Flurry, a provider of mobile application, advertising, and analytics software. According to Activision, Flurry will help the firm to establish a new mobile publishing initiative. The company said that the new initiative will identify and assist third party developers to develop, publish, distribute, and promote their titles on iOS and Android. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Flurry is venture backed by
Borealis Ventures,
Draper Fisher Jurvetson,
Draper Richards,
First Round Capital,
Interwest Partners,
Menlo Ventures, and
Union Square Ventures.
