VIZIO Connects Google TV, HDTVs
Irvine-based VIZIO said this morning that it has tapped into Google TV with a new product, which lets users turn any HDTV into a smart television. VIZIO said its new Vizio Co-Star Stream Player uses Google TV to allow users to tap into live and streaming entertainment and the web. The new box connects to a cable or satellite box, and provides access to not only that cable or satellite access but also the Internet and streaming media. VIZIO said the new product will be available for pre-order in July for $99.99.
