Calacanis Backs Red Tricycle
Prolific angel investor Jason Calacanis has backed the operator of an online service which provides parents with information about local activities, restaurants, stores, and more, Red Tricycle. Red Tricycle, which is based in Seattle, said it raised $1.5M in a Series A round, which was led led by Maveron, and also included 500 Startups, Richmond Park Partners and zulily, along with Jason Calacanis, Paul Buchheit, Bob Pittman, and Jon Nordmark.
