Sonos Now Streams Music Directly From iPhone, iPad
Users of the Sonos whole-house, wireless audio systems will be happy with one of the newest features from the Santa Barbara company: the ability to stream music directly stored in a user's iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch devices to a Sonos speaker or player. Sonos rolled out the update to its software last week, making it much easier to get music stored on the various Apple devices directly to the Sonos systems. Previously, there was not a way to directly stream music stored on the various iOS devices to the Sonos speakers and players, even though you could control the playback of music stored elsewhere on the Sonos systems. Santa Barbara-based Sonos is well known for their highly connected, and user-friendly wireless audio systems.
