Everbridge Buys Chinese Firm
Glendale-based Everbridge, the provider of mass notification and other communications tools, said today that it has acquired Hypersun Group Ltd., an Internet and software engineering services firm headquartered in Beijing. Financial terms of the deal were not announced. Everbridge said that Hypersun has more than 35 engineering staff, and will help provide it with a "deeper bench" of engineering expertise. As part of the acquisition, Everbridge said it has appointed Hypersun's founder, Yuan Cheng, as Senior Vice President of Engineering.
