Surf Air, the startup airline headed by Wade Eyerly looking to create a subscription-based, all-you-can-fly airline between Los Angeles and Silicon Valley, has raised around $2.6M, part of an ongoing funding round worth $7.0M, according to a recent regulatory filing by the company. Details of the ongoing funding have not yet been announced by the company. Surf Air is one of the companies out of the MuckerLab accelerator, and is venture backed by Anthem Venture Partners, NEA, TriplePoint Capital, Siemer Ventures, Baroda Ventures, as well as angels. Surf Air is working on providing daily, membership-based transportation between Palo Alto, Santa Monica, as well as a select other locations, aimed at frequent commuters between the locations.
