The Honest Company Partners With Zulily
The Honest Company, the online brand offering up natural products for babies and families founded by Jessica Alba, has teamed up with daily deals site Zulily, the two said Wednesday afternoon. According to the two, they are in an exclusive partnership where Zulily will offer up things such as diapers and wipes to its users alongside its daily deals. Financia link between the companies were not disclosed. The two said that Zulily will offer up The Honest Company shop, every day, for members, where they can purchase The Honest Company's various diapers, wipes, and training pants. The Honest Company is one of the most closely watched e-commerce companies in Los Angeles--not because of Jessica Alba, but because of co-founder Brian Lee, who has a long track record of growing and successful companies in the region. Lee also headed up LegalZoom, and also runs ShoeDazzle. Zulily is a fast growing, daily deals site based in Seattle specifically aimed at mothers, babies, and kids; the firm went from starting up in 2009 to over 600 employees in 2012, and was valued at over $1 billion in its latest funding round in November of last year.
