Siemer Ventures has backed social media advertising and analytics firm
Optimal, Optimal said Monday. San Francisco-based Optimal said it raised $7M in a Series B funding, which included DoubleRock, The Social Internet Fund, Siemer Ventures, Signal Ventures, John Pappajohn, Warren Adelman (former CEO of GoDaddy), Social Starts, James Altucher and Silicon Valley Bank. Southern California-based Siemer Ventures has been one of the more active investors in the region over the past year; the firm
recently reported 24 new investments in 2012, for a total of 39 digital media and technology startups in its portfolio.
