GameSalad Ships Universal Binaries For iOS
GameSalad, the Los Angeles- and Austin-based developer of software which makes it easy for game developers to develop their own, Apple iOS and web games without coding, has just launched a new, universal binary for ioS. The new feature--which debuted last week--means that developers no longer have to create separate targets and apps for each of Apple's various platforms when using GameSalad. GameSalad's tools allow developers to drag and drop components, and wire those together to create iOS, Android, Windows 8, and other games. The company is venture backed by such investors as Steamboat Ventures, Greycroft Partners, DFJ Mercury, DFJ Frontier, and ff Asset Management.
