MediaShift Buys Travora
Glendale-based MediaShift, a newly formed online advertising company, said today that it has acquired travel advertising network Travora Media. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The company said it will be enhancing Travora's offering with its technology for advertisers and publishers, to help them with deeper audience segmentation and richer data insights. Glendale-based MediaShift (currently operating as OTCBB traded JMG Exploration), is in the midst of a reverse merger with shell company JMG Exploration. Travora was venture backed by Rho Capital Ventures, Village Ventures, StarVest Partners, Austin Ventures, and Tenaya Capital.
