San Diego-based PURE Bioscience, which develops antimicrobial products, said earlier this week that it has named Dave Pfanzelter to its board of directors. Pfanzelter was previously a Senior Vice President at Kellogg Company, and also served at Oscar Mayer Foods and Keebler. The firm said that while at Kellogg, he represented representing the combined manufactured brands of Oscar Mayer, General Foods and Kraft Foods. Pfanzelter also serves on the board of Doctor's Associates, the parent company of Subway Restaurants, and is on the Advisory Board of Directors for Wrigley Foods. PURE Bioscience is developing silver dihydrogen citrate (SDC) antimicrobials.
