Morf3D, Starburst Aerospace Partner On Manufacturing Effort

El Segundo-based Morf3D, a metal additive manufacturing company which is a subsidiary of Nikon Corporation, and Los Angeles-based space startup accelerator Starburst Aerospace, are in a manufacturing deal in Long Beach, Morf3D said this week. According to Morf3D, it is in a technology development partnership in its new Applied Digital Manufacturing Center (ADMC) in Long Beach, California. Financial details of the deal were not announced. Morf3D said its new center is 90,000 square foot facility to help drive industrialization of digital manufacturing. As part of the deal, Morf3D said Van Espahbodi, Co-founder and COO of Starburst Aerospace, has joined its board of directors.
