    Morph Labs Raises $1.5M

Los Angeles and Phillipinnes-based firm Morph Labs said today that it has raised $1.5M in funding from CSK Venture Capital Co. Ltd, and AO Capital. Morph Labs, which is headed by former Gluecode Software head Winston Damarillo, provides a system for managing Ruby on Rails applications. The firm said the funding was the first step in an IPO on the Philippine Stock Exchange in Q2 of 2008. Morph Labs provides monitoring, version management, deployment, load balancing, backup, and high availability features for people running Ruby on Rails applications. Winston Damarillo was the founder of Gluecode Software, which he sold to IBM in 2005. He also founded Los Angeles-based firms LogicBlaze, DevZuz, and Exist Global, and was a venture capitalist at Intel Capital.
