Morpho Appoints CEO

Irvine-based Morpho Technologies (www.morphotech.com) has appointed Harold Blomquist and President and CEO of the company. Morpho is developing semiconductor technology for reconfiguring digital signal processing (DSP) cores, which is useful for adapting to changing application or feature requirements. Blomquist joins from Tower Semiconductor, and has also served at AMIS and General Semiconductor. Blomquist is also on the board of Simtek and Microsemi. Morphi is a spinoff of technology commercialized from UC Irvine, and is supported by Motorola Corp.
