MOSIS Adds Tanner EDA Software Kit
Marina Del Rey-based MOSIS, a provider of prototyping and small volume VLSI circuit production, said today that it has reached an agreement with Monrovia-based Tanner EDA to provide foundry design kits free of charge to its customers. The kits will provide the ability for engineers to move their designs between different process technologies. MOSIS said that the kids will be available for TSMC, AMS, AMIS, and IBM processes down to 0.13 micron. MOSIS said that it estimates that Tanner EDA tools have been used to create over 30% of designs by its customers.
