Irvine-based MTI Technology, a systems integrator and provider of storage, has acquired Austin, Texas-based Collective Technologies, an IT infrastructure provider. Terms were not disclosed. MTI said that the acquisition will be used to increase its resources for customer implementation. Both companies provide disaster recovery, backup, virtualization, data storage, and other services to enterprises. MTI Technology is an integrator and systems provider focused on mid to large size companies.
