    MySpace Adds AMBER Alerts, Email Verification


    Los Angeles-based social networking web site MySpace.com is continuing to address child safety issues on the site, this time inking a deal to distributed online AMBER Alerts via the site. MySpace said it will distribute localized online AMBER Alerts via MySpace, beginning today. The deal come in conjunction with new mandatory email verification, and new privacy tools to block users over or under age 18 to restrict contact to either age group.
