MySpace Links To Hulu With Widget

Los Angeles-based MySpace said Wednesday that the firm has launched a new application which links user profiles on the social networking site to the Hulu video site. According to MySpace, the new MySpace Primetime Application allows users to embed videos from Hulu and MySpaceTV on their profiles and home pages. The firm said the ad-supported application will show display advertising, tickers, pre-roll, post-roll, and other ads alongside user profiles. The new web widget also allows users to find and search for other videos, and will be available for free. MySpace said all of the content will come from a partnership with Hulu, Warner Bros., Sony, and from MySpaceTV originals.
