MySpace Names Bizdev Exec
Los Angeles-based social networking site MySpace announced today that it has named Tom Cox as the firms' Senior vice President of Business Development. The firm said that Cox joins from Stratique Partners, an executive level consulting firm where he was Principal and co-founder. Cox also served at AOL, as Vice Presidentof Business Development, and was an investment banker at Friedman, Billings, Ramsey. The company said that Cox will be responsible for the company's overall business strategy, as well as identifying and negotiating critical partnerships.
