    MySpace Officially Launches TV Platform

Los Angeles-based social networking website MySpace said Thursday that it has officially launched a beta of its video site, MySpaceTV. The new site, at www.myspacetv.com, will allow MySpace users to view, create, and share videos on the site. MySpace introduced a new user interface with the launch, and also said that localized versions of the service are available in seven different languages. The new site goes head to head with Google's YouTube video sharing service.
