NantHealth, BlackBerry Tie On Cancer Effort

Culver City-based NantHealth, the health information technology venture founded by billionaire Patrick Soon-Shiong, has tied with BlackBerry Limited to provide smartphone access to NantHealth's resources According to the two, they have created a secure, clinical genome browser which gives doctors access to patients genetic data on BlackBerry's PassPort smartphone. The two said the app is one of the first in a series of products being developed jointly by BlackBerry and NantHealth.
