Napster Expands Reach On AT&T

Los Angeles-based subscription music provider Napster has expanded its reach on AT&T, the firm said this morning, making the service available to 13 million more of AT&T's customer. According to Napster, the expanded reach comes due to less restrictive digital rights management requirements from the labels and Napster's adoption of "more flexible technology." Napster said its now supports more than 25 AT&T smartphones and handsets. AT&T has previously carried Napster's services, albeit on a more limited set of phones. The firm charges $1.99 each for individual, full-length songs on AT&T, or up to five song downloads for $7.49 a month.
