Napster Ramps Up Free Music Player Promotion
Los Angeles-based Napster is ramping up the promotion of its music subscription service, saying today that it will now give away free 512MB flash music players to music fans who purchase three months of the company's Napster To Go portable music subscription service. Napster previously had offered its free music players to subscribers who signed up for a year of access to its music service; the new, three month offer significantly shortens the committment time to the company's service. Napster also offers a 1GB flash media device for $50.
