NASA Satellite Fails To Reach Orbit

Any Southern California residents watching the launch of NASA's Glory satellite from Vandenberg Air Force Base early this morning: yes, that was a failed mission. NASA said that the satellite, an Earth-observing satellite intended to improve understanding of how the sun is affected by atmospheric aerosols and climate, failed to reach orbit.
