Nasty Gal Sues New Nasty Over Trademark
Los Angeles-based fashion site Nasty Gal has sued a fellow, Los Angeles fashion e-commerce provider, New Nasty, over it use of the word "Nasty", according to a legal filing by Nasty Gal this week. A lawsuit filed on November 18th in the California Central District Court accuses Charamon Hunter, the owner of New Nasty, of trademark infringement for the use of the name "Nasty". Nasty Gal is seeking to prevent the use of the name "New Nasty", saying the name confuses consumers.
