National Technical Systems To Run iControl Testing Program

Calabasas-based testing and engineering services provider National Technical Systems will operate the testing lab for certification testing for iControl Networks, according to NTS. NTS said that iControl Networks has selected the company to operate its iControl OpenHome Partner Program Test Facility, which will be based at the NTS Advanced Technology lab in Culver City. NTS said it will be responsible for all of the execution of testing plans for iControl's certification program ZigBee-enabled devices. Financial impact of the deal was not announced. iCOntrol is a venture backed developer of security and home automation software, and is backed by Charles River Ventures, the Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers iFund, and Intel Capital, and others.
