Netflix, NBC Universal Ink Streaming Deal

Beverly Hills-based NBC Universal Domestic Television DIstribution and DVD rental provider Netflix said Friday that they have expanded a license agreement covering streaming of NBC TV shows. According to the two, the deal allows Netflix customers to view prior season cable and broadcast TV series. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. The deal covers every season of NBC's Saturday Night Live, including day-after broadcast of the upcoming 2010, 2011, and 2012 season; series 30 Rock, The Office, Law & ORder: SVU; prior seasons of Friday Night Lights; and prior seasons of Psych, In Plain Sight, Monk, Battlestar Galactica, Destination Truth, and Eureka.
