Irvine-based Zetera and NETGEAR have introduced a new network-based storage solution aimed at the home and small office/home office market, based on Zetera's network storage technology. NETGEAR's new products will provide network-based access to home consumers, without adding additional cost, using IDE and IP technology. The companies said that the products will ship in 2Q of this year. Zetera's founders include Bill Frank, former CTO of Western Digital and inventor of IDE.
