NetSeer Hires Yahoo VP, Discloses Funding
Los Angeles-based NetSeer, a venture backed startup focused on the search and ad targeting market, has snagged Yahoo's Executive VP of Global Sales as its new President and CEO. NetSeer also revealed that it has received venture backing from ONSET Ventures and Mission Ventures. Details of the funding were not disclosed. Coleman was responsible for all of Yahoo's advertising revenues worldwide, which NetSeer said grew from $600M to $6B during his seven-year career. Coleman also has served at Reader's Digest. Coleman will also join Terry Opdendyk of ONSET and David Ryan of Mission Ventures on the firm's board of directors.
