Networks In Motion Gets Patent

Aliso Viejo-based Networks In Motion, a provider of location-based services and wireless navigation services, said today that it has been issued a U.S. Patent. The firm said Patent No. 7,321,826 covers features which have already been brought to market in its mobile phone navigation and local search applications. The patent it title "Point on interest special rating search." According to the U.S. Patent and Trademark office, inventors of the patent were Michael A. Sheha, Angie Sheha, and Stephen Petilli. The patent was filed in June of 2006 by Morrison & Foerster LLP, and was granted on January 22nd of this year.
