OEwaves lands DARPA Contract
Pasadena-based OEwaves (www.oewaves.com) announced that it has been awarded a contract to develop precision Opto-Electronic Oscillators for the Department of Defense. The contract is worth $5M over four years, and will be applied to improving high performance radar systems.

San Diego-based Wireless Facilities (www.wfinet.com) has acquired San Diego-based High Technology Solutions for $48.75M. HTS provides communications systems engineering and outsourcing to the federal government, and Wireless Facilities designs and deploys wireless telecommunications networks and security systems.
