Anaheim-based MTI Technology announced it is now offering EMC's new line of CLARiiON storage arrays. MTI is in the business of system integration and storage solutions, after the company exited the storage subsystem business.

CarParts Signs Customer
San Juan Capistrano-based CarParts Technologies (www.carparts.com) has signed on exhaust warehouse distributor Allied Exhaust as a customer. CarParts will manage Allied's inventory with its web-based inventory management system. Allied's repair shops will also have access to CarPart's accounting and back office automation systems.

Vitesse Ships 4Gb/s Storage ICs

Microsoft, Disney in DRM Deal
Microsoft and Walt Disney have signed a deal where Disney will license Microsoft's Windows Media DRM (Digital Rights Management) technology. The nonexclusive agreement calls for the companies to provide movies, TV shows, and other content through Microsoft's software.
