Santarus Raises $54M in IPOSan Diego-based Santarus has raised $54M in an IPO on the Nasdaq. The lead underwriters were SG Cowen and UBS Securities, with co-managers Thomas Weisel Partners and RBC Capital Markets. Santarus develops products for the treatment of gastrointestinal diseases and disorders. The company was backed by Hamilton Apex, New England Partners, Life Sciences Partners, China Development Industrial Bank, and others.
