Los Angeles-based Jamdat Mobile (www.jamdatmobile.com) has named Derek Chiasson to VP Corporate Development/Strategy and Legal Affairs. Chiasson was most recently at Stikeman Elliott. Jamdat is an entertainment publisher for mobile phones.

DriveCam Adds Director
San Diego-based DriveCam Video Systems announced Marco Thompson has joined the company's board. Thompson is an active angel investor who sold Doctor Design, his engineering design firm to Wind River in 1996, and sits on the board of 16 startups.

Yocca Retires From Microsemi Board
Irvine-based Microsemi Corp. announced that Nick E. Yocca has retired from the company's board of directors. Yocca is a founder of Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth and served on Microsemi's board for 15 years. Dennis R. Leibel has been elected to succeed Yocca on the board.

CaminoSoft Appoints CEO
Westlake Village-based CaminoSoft (www.caminosoft.com) has appointed Michael Skelton as CEO. Skelton was most recently an executive management consultant, and was CEO of Menta Software and TracePoint Technologies. The company also said that Steve Crosson will assume the role of COO and CFO.

Picasa Hooks Into Blogging
Pasadena-based Picasa (www.picasa.net) has integrated the company's photo sharing applications with the popular blogging tool Blogger. Bloggers are now able to easily resize and upload their photos managed with Picasa to the Blogger service, which is run by Google. Picasa is run by Idealab.
