Monday, May 17, 2004Mindspeed Gets LG Electronics WinNewport Beach-based Mindspeed Technologies (www.mindspeed.com) has been selected by LG Electronics for LG's new CDMA2000 wireless base stations. LG will use Mindspeed's CX28229 and CX28225 silicon for providing inverse multiplexing over ATM support. According to the company, Mindspeed's devices will enable transporting traffic across multiple T1/E1 links between base stations.

Digital Evolution Releases Web Services SuiteSanta Monica-based Digital Evolution (www.digev.com) announced the release of its Digital Evolution Service Manager software, a Web Services management package the company said is targeted at enterprise reuse of software. Separately, the company announced the launch of a Mainframe and AS/400 Web Services package which provides an interface for J2EE and .NET applications.
