Mindspeed Announces Voice and Data Convergence Chips
Newport Beach-based Mindspeed Technologies (www.mindspeed.com) has created a new family of convergence voice/data chips. The company's Comcerto Enterprise Voice and Data Convergence Processors offer both data networking and voice-over-Internet (VoIP) protocol support in a single system-on-a-chip. The chips are targeted at low-cost small and medium-sized business equipment solutions.
